Fernanda Kotzias is a Partner at Veirano Advogados since November 2023, having previously served as a Counselor at the Brazilian Administrative Council of Tax Appeals (CARF) from June 2019 to November 2023. Prior to their role as Counsel, Fernanda was a Senior Associate Lawyer at Veirano Advogados from August 2015 to June 2019 and held positions as an Associate Lawyer at Blasi & Valduga Advogados Associados and a Professor at Universidade do Vale do Itajaí (Univali) from January 2011 to March 2015. Additionally, Fernanda contributed as a Researcher at FGV Brazil in 2015 and as a Professor at UNISUL from July 2011 to January 2013. Academically, Fernanda holds a Doutorado em Direito in International Trade Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2015-2018), a degree as a Visiting Researcher in International Trade Law from Georgetown University (2017), a Mestrado em Direito in International Law from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2009-2011), and a Bacharelado em Direito from the same institution (2006-2010). Fernanda also possesses a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina.
