Carol AVOIS has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Carol started their career in 1998 as an Assistant Professor at the Université de Montréal. Carol then worked as a Researcher at the Institut national de la recherche agronomique (France) from 2001 to 2003. Following that, they served as a Professor in Microbiology at Saint Joseph Thonon from 2003 to 2005. Carol then transitioned into the publishing industry and worked as an Author for Youth at Editions Atlas from 2005 to 2007. From 2007 to 2009, Carol held the role of Relationship Manager for Companies at Mission Locale Jeunes Chablais. In 2009, they joined VEKA France and held multiple roles during their tenure, including National Prescription Manager, Market Manager, and currently, they serve as the Head of Product Management.
Carol AVOIS has a strong educational background in the field of marine biology and biological oceanography. Carol completed their Master of Science (MS) in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Pierre and Marie Curie University from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Digital Ecology at Université de Montréal for three years, from 1997 to 2000. During the same period, they also undertook a Doctorate in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography at Pierre and Marie Curie University. After completing their doctorate degrees, Carol AVOIS joined the University of Bergen (UiB) as a Post-doctoral researcher in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from 2000 to 2001.
