Tanja Havela

Tanja Havela has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Currently, they work as a Content Specialist at Veke, starting in May 2021. Prior to this, they operated their own visual design business, Tanja Havela I Visual design, since March 2018.

From August 2018 to April 2021, Tanja worked as a Communications Specialist at Lapin sosiaali- ja terveysturvayhdistys ry. Here, they focused on communications for the organization's website, lappilaiset.fi.

Before this role, Tanja served as a Graphic Designer at Lapin ensi- ja turvakoti ry for the period between November 2017 to June 2018.

In terms of teaching experience, Tanja worked as a Photography Teacher at Revontuliopisto in both June 2015 and September 2014.

Going further back in their career, Tanja held the position of Cultural Producer at Kemin taidemuseo from October 2010 to April 2011. Tanja also worked as a Graphic Designer for the District of Kemi-Tornio from August 2008 to September 2009.

Additionally, Tanja had a short-term role as a Mosaic worker at Pentik Oy in June 2008 where they contributed to the creation of a large ceramic artwork.

Early in their career, Tanja gained experience as a Photographer trainee at Lapin Kansa in September and October 2007.

Tanja Havela has a diverse education history in the field of visual arts and educational psychology. In 2006, they attended the Kemi-Tornio University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a degree in visual arts, graphic design, and multimedia. After completing their studies in 2009, they enrolled in the University of Lapland to pursue open university studies in educational psychology, which they completed in 2010.

Tanja Havela continued their education at the University of Lapland for their master's degree. From 2011 to 2014, they studied applied visual arts and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree. This program allowed their to deepen their knowledge and expertise in the practical application of visual arts.

In addition to their formal education, Tanja Havela obtained a certification in Yhdistysviestintä (developing organizational communications) from Opintokeskus Sivis in January 2020. This certification highlights their commitment to continuous learning and expanding their skill set.
