Christian has extensive experience as a machine learning-focused biomedical engineer and researcher. Most recently he was an AI research scientist at the Icahn School of Medicine & the Friedman Brain Institute at Mount Sinai, where he modeled biological data with artificial neural networks and built brain-inspired machine learning algorithms. He earned his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Imperial College London and his B.A. from Princeton University, and conducted research at the Max-Planck Institute, the Princeton Neuroscience Institute, and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
