Tyson Attaway is a senior attorney at Vela Wood. He focuses his practice in the areas of M&A, venture capital, and private equity.
Tyson graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he was a member of the Mississippi Law Journal. Prior to law school, he graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University with a B.A. in Accounting. Tyson assists startups and established companies on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including business formation and capitalization, financing, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.
Immediately prior to joining Vela Wood, Tyson was as an associate attorney in Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP’s structured finance group.
