Rishi Sharma

Rishi Sharma is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in senior leadership roles across various prestigious companies. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Velan Inc. since May 2022, Rishi previously held the position of Vice President of Finance for the Services Product Line at Alstom. With a robust tenure at BOMBARDIER from September 2008 to January 2021, Rishi held multiple key roles, including Head of Strategic Finance, Financial Planning & Performance, and various managerial positions in finance and risk management. Prior to BOMBARDIER, Rishi gained valuable experience at Deloitte, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and auditing large public companies. Rishi holds a Chartered Accountant designation from CPA Canada and possesses degrees in commerce with a focus on accounting and corporate finance from Concordia University.
