Janaka Basnayaka

Janaka Basnayaka is an experienced electrical technician with a diverse background in the hospitality industry. Currently employed at Velassaru Maldives since August 2021, Janaka has held various positions including General Mechanic at Westin Hotels & Resorts from September 2018 to October 2020, and General Mechanic at JA Manafaru from June 2016 to September 2018. Previous roles include Technician at Milton Beach Resort Galle, and involvement in significant projects such as Chavel Blanc Randheli and Vacarufushi as a Technician and Electrician, respectively. Janaka's career began in 2002 at Unawatuna Beach Resort Galle, complemented by technical training at the German Technical Training Institute in Moratuwa, where an E5 wiring course was completed.
