Ruchira Kumara is an experienced food and beverage management professional with a career spanning over a decade in various prestigious hospitality establishments. Currently serving as the Restaurant and Bar Manager at Velassaru Maldives since June 2023, Ruchira has previously held similar roles at Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa and Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts. Ruchira's experience includes a range of positions, from Cluster Assistant Beverage Manager at RIU Hotels & Resorts to Food and Beverage Supervisor at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi. Ruchira's extensive background is complemented by a degree in Hotel Management with a focus on Food and Beverage from Lanka International Hotel School and foundational education in accounting from Sri Jayawardana College.
