Muhamad Rifqi Samsudin

Muhammad Rifqi Samsudin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2015, they started as an Assistant Customer Services Engineer at Strateq Systems Sdn Bhd, where they analyzed and solved complex problems in petrol station software systems and optimized program performance. In 2016, they worked as a Design Intern at Ekahala Resources Sdn Bhd, where they gained knowledge in network consultancy and engineering services. Muhamad Rifqi also interned with Vessel Chartering and Trading, observing operations and attending safety meetings. In 2018, Muhammad Rifqi worked as an Assistant Buyer on a contract basis at Velesto Energy Berhad, assisting with procurement operations and networking with major vendors in the oil and gas industry. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Financial Consultant at Public Mutual Berhad, where they developed public relation skills and served clients in their investment portfolios. In 2019, they joined PETRONAS as a Mechanical Supervisor and later as a Production Operator, operating equipment and ensuring plant safety and efficiency. Currently, since 2020, Muhammad Rifqi has been working at Velesto Energy Berhad as an Operation Engineer, responsible for overseeing operations and training as a Trainee Driller.

Muhamad Rifqi Samsudin began their education in 2011 at Universiti Teknologi MARA, where they obtained a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2014. After that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering at Heriot-Watt University from 2015 to 2018. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Computerise Unit Trust Examination (CUTE) from FIMM in August 2015. Furthermore, they acquired the Authorized Entrant and Standby Person (AESP) certification from NIOSH Certification Sdn Bhd in May 2019 and the Fit Test Protocols: US OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 certification from SBMN Synergy in March 2019. Additionally, Muhamad Rifqi Samsudin earned an oil and gas safety passport from NIOSH Certification Sdn Bhd in February 2019.
