Roland Lajang has a diverse work experience in the field of electricity and maintenance. Roland started their career in 2013 as an Electrician at Bayong Resource and later worked at Bayong in 2014. In 2017, Roland joined Ensco as a Night Electrician, where they gained experience in drilling systems and maintenance of electrical equipment. In 2019, they became a Rig Electrician at Perisai Petroleum Teknologi Bhd. Currently, since 2020, Roland serves as a Chief Electrician at Velesto Energy Berhad, where they demonstrate their expertise in maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of drilling equipment on a cyber jack-up platform.
From 2005 to 2007, Roland Lajang attended Sarawak Industry Training Centre, where they pursued a certificate in electrical studies.
