Karen Umans, MBA

Karen Umans, MBA has over 30 years of experience in project management and system design with a focus on digital marketing. Most recently, they worked as a Senior Digital Producer at Velir, while their previous roles included System Director at Mequoda Systems, Senior Project Manager at Isovera, and Project Manager/Senior Consultant and Lead Systems Analyst/Senior Programmer at John Hancock Life Insurance Company. Karen has successfully launched numerous websites and managed schedules, budgets, and user acceptance testing, among other responsibilities.

Karen Umans, MBA holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics from Fairfield University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing/International Business from Bentley University - McCallum Graduate School of Business. Karen also holds two additional certifications: Video Interview Tips from LinkedIn obtained in April 2023, and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum.org obtained in February 2017.
