Asbjørn Purup Andersen

Asbjørn Purup Andersen is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management across leading financial institutions. Currently serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Velliv, overseeing a significant AUM of approximately $50 billion, Asbjørn previously held the position of Director - Head of Credit at PFA Pension, the largest commercial L&P fund in Denmark with an AUM of about $100 billion. Asbjørn has also contributed as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Danske Bank, managing portfolios exceeding EUR 6.5 billion, and has held roles in financial advisory and equity research. Educational credentials include an M.Sc. in Finance and a B.Sc. in Economics from Aarhus University, as well as ongoing studies at Harvard University and the University of Arkansas.
