Allen Pugh

Allen Pugh has over 30 years of work experience in the software development industry. Allen is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Velocitor Solutions, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, from December 2018 to May 2022, they served as the CTO at ethix360 Inc. From January 2009 to December 2018, Allen worked at Unum as a Senior Software Engineer and was involved in full stack web application development, database design, and implementing front-end logic using Knockout. Allen was also influential in introducing Agile Methodology to Unum at a corporate level. Before Unum, Allen worked at Colonial Life as a Consultant from October 2003 to January 2009. Earlier in their career, they were the VP of Development and Lead Architect at Salestactics, responsible for all aspects of product development and IT-related activities from June 2000 to October 2003. Prior to that, Allen worked as a Software Consultant at Pillowtex from January 1997 to June 2001. Allen started their career as a Programmer/Analyst at PMSC from July 1990 to August 1996.

Allen Pugh attended Midlands Technical College from 1986 to 1989, where they obtained an Associates degree in Computer Science.
