Efosa Omorogbe has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2014, Efosa worked as a Lead Graphic Designer at Inretrospect. In 2014, Efosa also worked as a Creative Partner at Formless Limited, where they focused on corporate film, motion graphics, and web design.
From 2014 to 2016, Efosa freelanced as a Digital Designer at Ogilvy & Mather, working on pitch presentations and creative projects for clients such as EY, BT, British Gas, Nescafe, and PHE's Change4Life. During this time, Efosa also served as a Junior Creative, collaborating with creative directors on campaigns and producing successful work for Change4Life.
In 2017, Efosa joined Offercard as a Senior Digital Designer, responsible for developing and maintaining the company's website, creating branding materials, designing marketing materials and pitch decks, and handling UX design for the app and website.
Starting in 2015 until 2019, Efosa co-founded TiTo - Talent in, Talent out., a platform aimed at improving the employment experience for students and recent grads. At TiTo, Efosa worked as the Chief Talent Believer & Partner, connecting with over 5,000 young people and developing an app and platform to help students gain valuable experience and find job opportunities.
From 2017 to 2019, Efosa worked as a UX Delivery Executive at Rail Delivery Group, collaborating with website owners, researchers, and product managers to enhance user experience and generate revenue through UX developments. This included making small text changes and complete experience redesigns for NRE's websites.
From 2019 to 2021, Efosa served as a Senior Frontend & UX Developer at Hivemind, where they worked with a data science and engineering team to improve the user interfaces of their SaaS platform. In this role, Efosa played a leading role in redesigning the platform to be more user-friendly and suitable for a broader client base.
In 2022, Efosa joined Velocity Black as a Senior Frontend Engineer, contributing to the development of their React Native and web app. Their responsibilities included maintaining and developing a cross-platform component library and theming system, as well as working on the development of the internal request management platform, Gravity.
Currently, Efosa works as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Capital One, starting in 2023.
Efosa Omorogbe attended the University of Essex from 2011 to 2016 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Graphic Design. In 2017, they enrolled in freeCodeCamp and completed a Full Stack Web Development Certification in 2018, focusing on Computer Software Engineering. Prior to that, in 2010-2011, they briefly attended the University of Westminster, pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Systems Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Efosa acquired the Copywriting, Branding & Tone of Voice certification from Jellyfish in March 2019.
