Jim Brown

Jim Brown is an experienced financial services executive with 35 years in the industry. Currently serves as the EVP and Chief Lending Officer at Velocity Credit Union since July 2022. Prior to this role, Jim held various positions at University Federal Credit Union from October 1989 to June 2022, including Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, and gained extensive experience in lending strategies and management. Additional experience includes various leadership roles such as Director of Retail Lending and Senior Manager across different lending sectors. Jim’s career began at General Motors Acceptance Corporation as a Customer Relations Supervisor. Jim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas A&M University.
