Greg Thiessen

Greg Thiessen possesses extensive experience in finance and tax roles across various industries. Currently serving as an Advisor and previously holding positions including Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, and Director of Finance at Velocity Global since April 2016, Greg has demonstrated leadership and financial acumen. Prior to this, Greg was the Vice President of Tax - Americas at AngloGold Ashanti from May 2012 to April 2016, and worked as a Tax Director at Royal Gold Inc. from June 2010 to May 2012. Greg's career also includes significant experience as a Tax Senior Manager at Newmont Mining Corporation and as a Tax Manager at PwC between 1999 and 2005. Greg holds a degree from the Graduate School of Business at The University of Kansas, completed in 1999.
