Abhiroop Medhekar

Abhiroop Medhekar is the current CEO at Velocity. Prior to this, they were the Associate Vice President at Elevation Capital, where they led Fintech, Financial services and Health-tech investments for the fund. Before that, they were the Co-Founder and COO at Taskbob, which they co-founded in order to deliver timely, high quality and transparently priced home services to Indian households. Abhiroop raised two rounds of capital and scaled it to market leadership in Mumbai. At McKinsey & Company, they worked with clients across Financial services, Technology, Pharma and Industrial Operations before leaving as a Senior Engagement Manager for their own startup. Abhiroop started their career as an Engineering Intern at Google.

Abhiroop Medhekar has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a BTech and MTech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
