Katharine Kane

Katharine Kane has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Katharine started their own business, Simply Brands, in 2017 where they serve as the Founder/Owner of the Simply Group. Under Simply Brands, they launched Simply Tan, a natural airbrush spray tanning business with a focus on skin cancer awareness. Prior to starting their own business, Katharine worked as a Business Consultant at Velocity Logic starting in 2020. Before that, they were a Management Consultant at SaveAround from 2016 to 2020. Katharine also has experience in the fashion industry, having worked as a Senior Merchant at Tory Burch from 2010 to 2016, and as an Associate Merchandiser at Ralph Lauren from 2007 to 2010.

Katharine Kane's education history began in 2002 with their enrollment at SUNY Oneonta, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Ecology. Katharine attended SUNY Oneonta for three years until 2005. In 2004, Katharine briefly attended the American InterContinental University, where they studied Design and Applied Arts, but did not complete a degree program. From 2005 to 2006, they attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor's degree in Merchandising and Buying Operations.
