Ben Hays

Ben Hays has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ben started their career as a Customer Service Representative at First Tennessee Bank in 2007. Ben then joined Allstate in 2008 and held multiple roles, including Product Analyst, Product Consultant, and finally, Unit Manager - Senior Product Consultant. At Allstate, Ben was responsible for analyzing regional strategies, overseeing the development of new projects and product features, and providing support to the sales force. In 2015, they moved to Acceptance Insurance as a Product Manager, where they were accountable for pricing strategies and the creation of new products and programs. Since 2016, they have been working at Velocity Risk, starting as a Product Manager, then moving up to Vice President Personal Lines, and currently serving as the Vice President Product Management Analytics. In their current role, Ben is responsible for P&L accountability, product development, underwriting appetite, and sales strategy. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a track record of improving profitability, expanding into new markets, and managing risk effectively.

Ben Hays earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Marketing and Psychology from Union University between 2003 and 2006.
