Lillian Carney

Lillian Carney is an experienced operations manager with a diverse background in both nonprofit and corporate sectors. Currently serving as Operations Manager at Velocity Risk since December 2019, Lillian has previously held roles as Senior Operations Analyst and Operations Analyst within the same organization. Lillian was the Executive Director & President of the Carney Strong Initiative, a nonprofit focused on occupational cancer prevention for fire departments, from February 2018 to May 2023. Earlier in the career, Lillian worked at Risk Placement Services, Inc., and CRC Insurance Services / Southern Cross Underwriters as an Applications Support Analyst and Specialist, leading ImageRight Implementation projects and providing user support. Lillian’s early experience also includes a role at The Kimbrell Company as an Applications Specialist and Underwriting Assistant. Lillian holds a degree from Central Connecticut State University.
