Avichai Sefati

Avichai Sefati has over 18 years of experience in software engineering. Avichai began their career in 2002 as a Software Team Leader at Radvision, where they managed 3-5 software engineers and had knowledge in H.323. From 2006 to 2007, they worked at Marvell as a Project Manager, where they had overall responsibility of project development and managed project gantts, risk management, and customer management. In 2007, they moved to ECI Telecom, where they held two roles: Java Software Engineer and VOIP Software Group Leader. In 2013, they worked at AT&T as a Java Software Engineer, programming in IBM WebSphere over Linux. Avichai then took a break from work and spent time at home taking online courses. In 2014, they began working at Trainologic as a Software Engineer. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Borderfree as a Software Engineer and then at Refinitiv as a Software Engineer, programming mainly in Scala, Go, and Python. In 2021, they began working at Clearco as a Back End Team Leader, leading 3 team members developing an integration platform in Golang over GCP. Avichai is currently working at Velocity as a Backend Software Engineer.

Avichai Sefati earned their B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University between 1990 and 1995.
