Matthew Flannery

Matthew Flannery serves as General Counsel at Velocity Vehicle Group since June 2024. Prior to this role, Matthew held various leadership positions at Icahn Automotive from March 2017 to November 2024, including Chief Legal and Administrative Officer and Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary. From July 2015 to November 2019, Matthew was the Senior Vice President, General Counsel at Pep Boys. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Counsel at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company from January 2011 to June 2015 and at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company from September 2003 to December 2010. Matthew began their legal career as an Associate at Jones Day from September 1993 to September 2003. Matthew holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Temple University's James E. Beasley School of Law and a BA in English from the University of Pennsylvania.
