Rick Hernandez

Rick Hernandez is the CFO at VelocityTX. Rick has over 20 years of experience in the finance and accounting industry. Rick has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.

Rick started their career as a controller at Browning Ferris Industries (BFI) in 1989. Rick then became the controller at Allied Waste in 1999. In 2005, they left Allied Waste to become the controller at Medical Present Value, Inc.

In 2011, Rick left Medical Present Value to become the finance director at Experian Healthcare. Rick then became the chief financial officer at National Nursing and Rehab in 2013. Rick left National Nursing and Rehab in 2014 to become the controller at Petro Waste Environmental LP.

Most recently, Rick was the controller at Waste Management from March 2019 to April 2019. Rick then became the CFO at VelocityTX in April 2019.

Rick Hernandez attended Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where they earned a BBA. Rick then attended The University of Texas at Austin, where they earned an A.A.
