Richard Soares

Richard Soares is a seasoned professional in the media and telecommunications industry with experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Sales Account Manager at Velocix since May 2022, Richard previously held roles as a Sales Engineer at Telestream, where focus was on video monitoring solutions, and as an Application Engineer at Tektronix, specializing in IPTV and OTT monitoring platforms. Richard's career includes significant positions at Ericsson, where expertise in Media Solutions was developed, and at Portugal Telecom as an OTT Integration Engineer. Richard holds a Master of Science degree in Electronic and Telecommunications from Universidade de Aveiro and has furthered education with studies at the University of Gävle and participation in an Entrepreneurship Lab.
