David Watson

David Watson is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in the cycling and apparel industries. David currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Veemo (formerly VeloMetro Mobility), a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they were Executive Director of Greenroom Holdings Ltd. from 2004 to 2020, where they were responsible for strategic ventures, patented innovations, emerging technologies and proprietary intellectual property development. From 1998 to 2004, they were the Founder and Former President of Sombrio, an iconic global leader in high performance mountain bike and lifestyle apparel. During their tenure, they also served as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors & CEO of Sombrio Brands + Trademarks, and managed the acquisition and succession of Sombrio in a sale to Dorel Industries Ltd & Sugoi.

David Watson attended the University of Victoria from 1995 to 1998, where they earned an Alumni degree from the Faculty Arts & Science and also studied Education.
