Dianne Martinez

Dianne Martinez is an experienced professional currently serving as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Emeryville and as Director of the Policy Board for VELOZ, with additional leadership roles as Director and Member of the Board of Trustees at Garfield Foundation. Previously, Dianne held significant positions including Chair and Board Member of East Bay Community Energy, Board Member at StopWaste and Commissioner at the Alameda County Fire Advisory Commission. Dianne served as a City Council Member and Mayor for the City of Emeryville, and was an Elected Member of the Alameda County Democratic Central Committee. In the media production sector, Dianne worked as a Freelance Story Producer and Associate Producer on various programs for Animal Planet, National Geographic Wild, and PBS, and as Senior Producer for the PLAYSTATION Network at Sony Computer Entertainment America. Dianne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Critical Studies from the University of Southern California.
