Julie Gil

Julie Gil, PhD, currently serves as Principal Solution Scientist and Senior Scientific Partner at Velsera, following the company’s transition from Seven Bridges where Julie held the roles of Senior Scientific Engagement Manager and Scientific Engagement Manager. Previous experience includes positions as Associate Director of Bioinformatics at Gadeta, Bioinformatician at Philips, and Bioinformatician in the Client Relations Group at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. Julie's academic background encompasses a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioinformatics from Boston University, a Master’s in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Science and Engineering from MIT. Additional experience includes roles at Draper Laboratory and Health Advances as well as technical and analytical positions early in Julie's career.
