Rucha Dugge

Rucha Dugge, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Biocurator at Velsera since January 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a researcher at Universitätsklinikum Ulm from June to December 2021 and as a graduate student at Ulm University from August 2017 to June 2021, where Rucha earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Medicine. Earlier positions include Project Assistant roles at the Division of Biochemical Sciences, CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory from November 2016 to May 2017, and at Tata Memorial Centre's Advanced Centre for Training and Research in Cancer from May 2015 to June 2016, which involved research in germline mutation analysis of BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes related to hereditary breast and ovarian cancer syndrome. Rucha also holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Savitribai Phule Pune University, completed in 2015.
