Yatish Patil

Yatish Patil is a senior bioinformatician with extensive experience in bioinformatics, specializing in the design, development, operation, and deployment of next-generation analysis pipelines and high-throughput sequencing data. Currently at Velsera since January 2023, Yatish utilizes WDL and Nextflow on HPC clusters for NGS data analysis, including RNA-Seq, DNA-Seq, and microarray data. Prior experience includes roles at Pierian, where variant calling pipelines were developed, and at The Institute of Cancer Research, focusing on cancer data analysis. Yatish's technical expertise encompasses a wide range of bioinformatics tools and software, along with proficiency in programming languages such as Perl, R, and Python. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Savitribai Phule Pune University and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Mumbai.
