Deon Slot

Deon Slot is a Junior Planvoorbereider at Veluwezoom Verkerk Bouw B.V. since January 2022, involved in the acquisition, development, and preparation of projects related to new construction, renovation, and transformation. Previously, Deon conducted a graduation research for a Double Master Degree in USRE & CME at Eindhoven University of Technology, focusing on the impact of shared facilities on the affordability and sustainability of new apartments for starters in the Dutch housing market. Deon's experience also includes roles such as Trainee in plan preparation and development at TU/e, various student mentorship positions for first-year architecture students, and multiple part-time jobs in different organizations. Deon is currently pursuing dual Master of Science degrees in Construction Management and Engineering and Architecture Building and Planning at Eindhoven University of Technology, following a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Urbanism, and Building Sciences.
