Julie Kjestrup

Julie Kjestrup is an experienced policy and public affairs professional currently serving as Head of Policy and Thought Leadership at VELUX and EU Affairs Lead since January 2022. As President of EuroACE, a role previously held from January 2021 to November 2021, Kjestrup plays a pivotal role in promoting energy efficiency in buildings. Previous positions include Head of EU Affairs at Danfoss and Head of Public Affairs Europe at the European Copper Institute. Kjestrup has also held leadership roles at APCO Worldwide and within various industry associations, demonstrating a commitment to energy, environment, and sustainability issues. Educational qualifications include a BA in European Studies with a First-Class Honours from the University of Southampton and an MA in European Studies with Distinction from the University of Sussex, complemented by additional courses in HR management and bioethics.
