David Beckett

David Beckett is an experienced executive in the event and consulting industries, currently serving as Vice President of Business Model and Performance at Velvet Chainsaw Consulting since January 2023. Prior to this role, David was Senior Vice President of Professional Services at eventcore, where David focused on customized online event technology solutions from May 2018 to August 2022. David also held multiple key positions at Experient, a Maritz Global Events Company, from June 2001 to April 2018, culminating in the role of Senior Vice President of Operations/Client Services, overseeing large-scale event operations. Additional experience includes managing roles at Nutro Corporation, Premier Expositions, and Small Business News. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.
