Tonio Desorrento

Tonio DeSorrento currently serves as Chief Executive Officer at GovPort, a subcontractor management portal, since December 2022. Additionally, DeSorrento has held the role of Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia since February 2022 and worked as a Partner (Entrepreneur in Residence) at On Deck from January to May 2022. Previously, DeSorrento was the Chief Executive Officer of Vemo Education from 2015 to 2021. Other professional experiences include serving as Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center from 2014 to 2019, Deputy General Counsel at SoFi from 2013 to 2015, and Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from 2008 to 2012. DeSorrento began a military career as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps from 1999 to 2005. DeSorrento holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, with an exchange cadet experience at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
