Muneerah Kanji

Muneerah Kanji (nee Samji), MBA, CPA, CA has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting roles. 🌱 Muneerah most recently worked as the VP of Finance at Vena Solutions starting in 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Interim CFO at Crescita Therapeutics Inc. from 2016 to 2019. 🌱 Muneerah also worked as the VP of Finance at Remedy Holdings Inc. from 2012 to 2014. Muneerah has experience in senior financial roles, including Senior Director of Financial Controls & Policy at MDS INC from 2008 to 2010 and Director of Finance Operations at Baxter Healthcare Corporation Canada from 2007 to 2008. 🌱 Muneerah also worked as a Consultant for Corporate Reporting & Compliance at E. D. Smith Income Fund from 2006 to 2007. Earlier in their career, Muneerah held roles as the Director of Corporate Compliance and Director of Corporate Accounting at Vincor International from 2001 to 2006. 🌱 Muneerah began their career as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young from 1993 to 1996. Muneerah Kanji (nee Samji) holds an MBA degree from Queen's University, specializing in Accounting and Finance as well as International Business. Prior to their MBA, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Toxicology from the University of Toronto. Muneerah also holds a CPA, CA certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
