Amanda MacVey is a boots-on-the-ground construction lawyer with extensive experience managing construction disputes and minimizing risk on complex, multi-year projects. Currently a partner at Venable LLP and a founding member of Chief, Amanda is dedicated to empowering women in leadership roles. Previously, Amanda served as Outside General Counsel for Street Law, Inc. and taught a construction law course as an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. With a strong background in contract administration and dispute avoidance, Amanda has also held significant positions at Schiff Hardin LLP and Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, LLP, where they specialized in construction law and various litigation matters. Amanda earned their degree from the University of Illinois College of Law.
