Dorin Tepeneu

Dorin Tepeneu has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dorin is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Venafi since August 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Lead Cloud Architect at Pegasystems from March 2021 to August 2021.

Before their tenure at Pegasystems, Dorin worked at TIBCO Software Inc., where they held various roles including Cloud Principal Architect from June 2017 to February 2021, Senior Cloud Architect from December 2015 to June 2017, Cloud Architect/Principal Engineer from June 2013 to December 2015, and Senior Member Technical Staff from September 2010 to June 2013.

Earlier in their career, Dorin worked as a Senior Software Engineer at OpenSpirit Corporation from January 2008 to September 2010, and as a Software Engineer from October 2005 to January 2008. Dorin also served as a Software Engineer at TOPS Systems Corporation from 2002 to 2005, and at WebQuote, Inc. from February 2001 to September 2001.

Dorin began their professional journey as an Instructor at West University of Timisoara in 2000. Throughout their career, Dorin has gained extensive experience in software engineering and cloud architecture roles.

Dorin Tepeneu has a strong educational background in computer science. Dorin obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the West University of Timisoara from 1999 to 2001, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certifications as a Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) from Pegasystems and as a Venafi Security Administrator from Venafi in October 2021.
