Andy Dixon is an IEng MIET with a range of work experience in the engineering field. Andy started their career at Artenius as a Production Manager from 2000 to 2009. Andy then moved to Huntsman Tioxide Greatham Works as an Assistant Electrical Engineer from 2010 onwards. In this role, they were responsible for HV maintenance and achieving compliance with E@WR and HSE best practices.

In 2017, Andy joined Huntsman Corporation as a Site Continuous Improvement Leader and later transitioned to Venator Materials Plc as an Area E/I Engineer. In these roles, they worked on a top-tier COMAH site, leading a team of multi-disciplinary engineers. Andy focused on driving manufacturing excellence, implementing maintenance strategies, and ensuring adherence to HSE best practices and regulatory compliance.

Currently, Andy is working at Venator Materials Plc as an Engineering Manager. In this role, they manage a team of multi-disciplined engineers and is responsible for various tasks such as EHS management, management of change, inspections, and testing. Andy also oversees the area engineering budget and looks for continuous improvement opportunities in the maintenance function.

Andy Dixon IEng MIET has a strong educational background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Andy started their academic journey by completing an ONC in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Longlands College of Further Education from 1991 to 1993. Following this, Andy pursued an apprenticeship in the same field at ICI from 1991 to 1995. Andy then continued their studies at the University of Teesside, where they obtained an HNC in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1993 to 1995. Finally, Andy completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Teesside between 1997 and 1998. Andy Dixon's education demonstrates their commitment to acquiring knowledge and expertise in their chosen field.
