Charles Kennedy has been in the medical sales industry since 1998. Charles began their career as a Cardiovascular Metabolic Risk Specialist at Bristol-Myers Squibb. In 2003, they moved to Medtronic as a Senior Therapy Sales CRM, where they called on EP and IC to identify heart failure patients appropriate for CRT and ICD device therapy. In 2008, they joined Spectranetics as a Sales Rep, where they implemented laser programs for cardiac lead extraction to hospitals and helped develop the extraction market for appropriate customers. In 2010, they moved to Covidien Vascular Intervention as a Sales Rep, where they worked with Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, cath labs, ER's and ultrasound to sell Trellis, a device for venous and arterial clots. In 2013, they became the General Manager at Novus Health Partners. In 2016, they joined IntelligeneCG Cancer Genomics as the National Director of Sales, responsible for hiring and contracting, training and helping sales efforts with distributors nationally. Finally, in 2021, they began their current role as a Territory Sales Manager at Venclose.
Charles Kennedy attended Kansas State University from 1986 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing/Advertising.
