Douglas Desalvo

Douglas DeSalvo has a diverse work experience, spanning different roles and industries. Douglas started their career in 1979 as a Program Manager at BDM International/TRW, where they managed over twenty major projects. Douglas then worked as the Chief Information Officer at GRCI, overseeing information system implementations and corporate communications. Later, they became the Systems Director at AT&T Government Solutions, responsible for information system implementations and process improvement.

In 2003, Douglas joined BAE Systems as a Senior Program Manager, where they had program management responsibilities for military radio design, development, and integration efforts. Douglas also acted as a lead during the multi-year JTRS AMF proposal.

After leaving BAE Systems, Douglas started their own company, Douglas DeSalvo Consulting LLC, where they worked as a Principal for a few months.

In 2011, they joined Vencore Inc. as the Director of Financial Planning. In this role, they supported the strategic plan by developing financial inputs and analysis. Douglas also created reports for a monthly operations review.

Douglas Desalvo completed their Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, during the period from 1969 to 1973. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, graduating in 1979.
