Joann Zucofski

Joann Zucofski, PMP, has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to system engineering and management. Joann began their career at IBM in 1982, where they served as a Proposal Manager, System/Test Engineer, and Software Engineer. During their time at IBM, they were responsible for managing proposals for document processing systems with OCR technology and played a vital role in the development and testing of these systems. Joann also served as a product owner, overseeing the life cycle of a commercial product from concept to release and maintenance.

In 1994, Joann Zucofski joined Lockheed Martin as a System Engineering Manager. Joann held this position for 16 years, until 2010. Their responsibilities included managing system engineering processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful integration of systems.

After leaving Lockheed Martin, Joann Zucofski joined The SI Organization, Inc. in 2010, where they continued to serve as a System Engineering Manager. In this role, they contributed to the successful execution of system engineering projects and provided strategic leadership to the team.

Most recently, Joann Zucofski joined Vencore Inc. in 2014 as a System Engineering Manager. Joann has been instrumental in leading system engineering efforts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions to clients.

Joann has shown expertise in managing complex projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering successful outcomes. Their extensive experience and leadership skills make their a valuable asset to any organization.

Joann Zucofski, PMP has a strong educational background in computer science and applied mathematics. Joann obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University, where they studied from 1978 to 1982. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, from 1983 to 1986. These educational achievements have equipped Joann Zucofski with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the field of project management as a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
