Michael Hunt

System Engineer III at Vencore, Inc.

Michael Hunt has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Michael started their career in 1991 with the United States Marine Corps, where they worked as an Aviation Mechanic and Quality Assurance supervisor. Michael maintained Environmental and Egress Systems and performed quality assurance inspections on various aircraft systems. After leaving the Marine Corps in 1999, they worked as an Assembler for Specialty Systems Plus, Nortel Networks, and Pliant Systems. In 2000, they joined the U.S Army National Guard, where they served as a Computer Support and Infantry personnel until 2004. Michael then worked at RTI International / MCNC-RDI as an Electrical Engineer, designing power and embedded control systems for waterless toilets, and programming microcontrollers. In 2015, they joined Northrop Grumman Corporation as an Electronic Hardware Maintenance Engineer, and in 2016, they started working as a System Engineer III at Vencore Inc.

Michael Hunt's education history includes earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in General Studies from Durham Technical Community College from 2000 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Carolina State University, which they completed from 2007 to 2012. Lastly, they obtained a Master of Science (MSEE) degree in Communication and Digital Signal Processing from Ohio University from 2016 to 2018.
