Nnanna Egwu Echem is a dynamic and impact-driven Product Manager with a proven track record of building and scaling digital products that power payments, commerce, and operational efficiency across Africa. With a multidisciplinary background spanning banking, fintech, and procurement technology, Nnanna has consistently delivered product strategies that align innovation with business outcomes.

Currently at Vendease, a food procurement, financing and technology company, he leads critical product initiatives across payments, wallet infrastructure, Buy-Now-Pay-Later, enterprise integrations, and fraud prevention. His work includes building multi-gateway payment systems with infrastructure for API externalization, designing wallet funding flows for finance operations, Point-of-Sale for card acceptance, and implementing merchant wallet gamification with controls that ensure both compliance and usability.

Previously, at GTBank, he played a central role in the development of the Squad App, where he launched features like the automated GTBank virtual accounts, and managed the Squad payment gateway for local/international collections, and customer onboarding flows that drove the measurable uptick in user engagement and retention. His contributions helped position Squad by GTCO as a vital tool for corporate organizations, business owners, and individuals seeking seamless financial services.
