Sean Kesler is a software engineer with extensive experience in the field. Sean began their career in 1999 as a Senior Software Developer at Dell, where they designed and implemented a core change in a global planning tool that decreased the database size by 90+% and removed 50% of the processing time related to daily scheduling requirements. Sean then moved to Bally Technologies in 2007 as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead. In 2009, they joined BancVue as a Software Development Team Lead, and then Grasshopper Group as a Senior Software Engineer in 2010. In 2013, they worked as a Software Architect at General Motors. In 2018, they joined Charles Schwab as a Technical Director - Software Engineering RWT, where they led the modernization of development practices and mentored multiple associate and junior engineers in career development and software engineering practices. Sean also created a standardized CiCd pipeline and onboarded over 60 projects with various architectures and frameworks. Finally, in 2022 they co-founded Kast Guides.

Sean Kesler attended the University of North Texas from 1995 to 1996, studying Mathematics and Chemistry.
