Vice President, Software Engineering at Vengo Labs

Jafar Mohammed has a long history of software engineering and development experience. From 2012 to present, Jafar has served as Vice President of Software Engineering and Senior Engineer for Vengo Labs. During their time at Vengo Labs, Jafar developed a Java-based Android app for the Vengo taxi vending prototype. From 2011 to 2012, Jafar was the Founder and Co-Owner of AJ Apps, where they developed an Android app that automatically finds your location and calculates the five daily Muslim prayer times. The app had a 4.4 rating with 100k - 500k downloads. Lastly, from 2007 to 2011, Jafar worked as a Software Developer for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Jafar Mohammed received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering with an Aeronautics Concentration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2008. Jafar then continued their education at the University of Central Florida and obtained a Graduate Certification in Systems Engineering in 2011.
