Erik Voorhees

Erik Voorhees is a prominent figure in the cryptocurrency space, currently serving as the Founder of Venice.ai since May 2024 and as a Private Investor since January 2022. Voorhees is best known as the CEO and Founder of ShapeShift, an open-source platform for digital assets that transitioned into a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) in December 2021. Previously, Voorhees co-founded Coinapult, a leading Bitcoin company, and founded SatoshiDice, a popular Bitcoin gambling platform. Early career experience includes roles at BitInstant as Head of Marketing, Podium Group as Communications Lead & Project Manager, and Better Homes as Communications Manager. Erik Voorhees holds a BA in Business Leadership and Political Economics from the University of Puget Sound, completed in 2007.
