Kathy Cohen

Kathy Cohen's work experience includes a variety of roles in different industries. Kathy is currently working as a Lecturer at The College of Management Academic Studies since 2022. Prior to that, they had roles at venn as the Global Training and Development Lead and Lead community facilitator from 2019 to 2021. Kathy also worked at Midburn as the Head of Fire Department, responsible for fire safety at events. Kathy has experience in marketing and community development as the Director of Product Marketing & Community Development at Mobilize.io from 2017 to 2019. Kathy also worked as the Founder & Digital Communicologist at Kixx Digital, handling website management and social media platforms from 2014 to 2017. In addition, Kathy has experience in marketing as the Head of Marketing, Digital, and Account Management at EverThere, conducting market analysis and managing social media from 2015 to 2016. Kathy worked as the Content, SEO, Co-operations & Social Media Manager at Wideo.co, managing social networks and creating website content in 2013-2014. Earlier in their career, Kathy worked as a Shark Diver at UnderWater World - Mooloolaba, conducting dives and taking care of animals. Kathy also held the role of Village Life Manager - Community Manager at Campus Living Villages, organizing events and managing a team. Lastly, Kathy worked as a Choreographer and Stage Manager at Club Med. Overall, they have a diverse background in various industries, including education, training and development, marketing, event management, and animal care.

Kathy Cohen completed their Bachelor of Business degree in Event Management from Griffith University between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they attended TAFE Queensland from 2002 to 2003, obtaining a Diploma in Marketing-Operations Management and a Diploma in International Business. In 2001, Kathy also earned a Diploma of Business from TAFE Queensland. In addition to their educational qualifications, they hold a certification as an Open Water Scuba Instructor from PADI, which they obtained in February 2008.
