Venn Foundation
Michael Dai currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Venn Foundation, where Michael is involved in governance and advancing charitable impact through program-related investments since March 2019. Prior to this role, Michael Dai had a long tenure at 3M, holding various positions including Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Secretary, where leadership spanned across corporate securities and M&A legal teams. Michael's experience also includes roles as Truste for Mounds Park Academy, as well as legal positions at Sidley Austin LLP and Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly, focusing on securities law and business litigation. Educationally, Michael Dai earned a Juris Doctor degree from Samford University.

Venn Foundation
Venn Foundation is a nonprofit public charity on a mission to unleash the full power of Program-Related Investments (PRIs) to achieve charitable impact. Our vision is to create a new category of flexible, below-market-rate investment capital that can be directed creatively to projects and organizations across all sectors that are helping advance charitable goals. By opening a special donor-advised fund called a Venn Account, any philanthropic individual or entity can recommend that their tax-advantaged, charitable donations be used by Venn to make PRIs. Venn can syndicate any one PRI among any combination of Venn Accounts. Financial returns from these PRIs go back to participating Venn Accounts for donors to recommend redeployment into new PRIs or as grants to nonprofits.
