Susanne Fornero-Quaak

Susanne Fornero-Quaak is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant in Chemistry, Manufacturing & Control at Venn Life Sciences, part of Open Orphan Plc since October 2022, Susanne previously held the role of Senior Technical Specialist & Scheme Manager at BSI from April 2017 to August 2022, focusing on regulatory compliance for IVF products and organ preservation solutions. Susanne also contributed as a Medicinal Expert and Team Training Lead during this time. Prior experience includes working as a Formulation Scientist at HAL Allergy from 2011 to 2017 and as a Project Pharmacist at Slotervaartziekenhuis from 2004 to 2010, where responsibilities included GMP training and development of cell therapies for clinical studies. Susanne earned a Master's degree in Pharmacy from Utrecht University and has a PhD in pharmaceutical development, specifically related to a plasmid DNA vaccine for skin cancer.
