Venner Shipley
Kathryn Sayer is an Associate UK & European Patent Attorney at Venner Shipley since March 2024, with prior experience at Kilburn & Strode from September 2016 to February 2024, where numerous roles as a UK & European Patent Attorney were held. Kathryn’s background includes serving as a Legal Secondee in the Patents & Designs department at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd and performing as a violinist in the Corelli Quartet from 2009 to 2017. An academic mentor during studies at Imperial College London, Kathryn earned a 1st Class MEng in Mechanical Engineering, complemented by a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London. Notably, as an undergraduate researcher, Kathryn designed sporting equipment for the Rio Tinto Sports Innovation Challenge, contributing to a silver medal win at the Rio 2016 Paralympics.
