Robert Sayer is a seasoned patent attorney with extensive experience in the field of intellectual property. Since January 2017, Robert has served as a Partner at Venner Shipley LLP. Prior to this role, Robert was a Partner and Chartered & European Patent Attorney at Agile IP LLP from October 2008 to December 2016, focusing on patent prosecution across the UK and Europe, as well as litigation and copyright design work. Earlier in Robert's career, experience includes working as a Patent Attorney at BT from September 2004 to September 2008, specifically in the telecoms sector, and as an Associate Patent Attorney at Withers & Rogers from October 1997 to August 2003. Robert holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of Essex, earned between 1994 and 1997.
